lol, i thought of shooting this this week too. Nice shot and tones. I think it would have shown of its true bizarreness better with a wider shot, where you could see how massive and out of place it is all lit up on the oakland hills.

I'm liking the architectural forms and futuristic, or maybe mc escher-ish, feel of this. The way the columns are cropped makes me think the background is a border, but I can't quite figure out how you accomplished the offset of the two rectangles. Regardless, a well done study of structure, texture and form.

Nice pic and capture, Marc. A nice and deserving score. Like the composition and framing. Brings me back to when I used to work downtown, not too far from this spot. I think some more traffic might have improved it a bit, or maybe a couple blurred buses on either side if you could have caught them at just the right time.
