I'll Start Tomorrow!by JeniYComment: This kind of reflective surface always seems to cry out for a good soft light in a set-up composition. I think the backwards/forward foot position doesn't complement the very square-on angle of the scales, and makes for an uncomfortable dynamic in the image. Nice that you've shown just enough of the ankles to make clear a certain, shall we say, carrying of weight? |

Time to do the laundryby TaylorMComment: Not, I'm afraid, an interesting composition: I think there might have been more effective ways to portray this photographically, rather than a very straightforward image of the pile of clothes, centred, and over-exposed. |

vacationby agenkinComment: Interesting composition - almost a pity about the plane, given the strangeness of a bloke pulling a vacuum cleaner across the tarmac. Nice treatment too, though perhaps in the end the difficulty, composition-wise, of the placement of the plane does for the final effect. |

I REALLY need to get that garage finishedby ShutterPugComment: I think your white balance has drifted a touch too far to the blue; more unfortunately for the image is, I think, the composition: too many extraneous elements crowd the upper part of frame, and then the lower part is absolutely simple. You might, for instance, have made the same point with a shot solely of the snow on the vehicle - there must be some interesting forms and lines made by that snow covering, and we'd only need to see the snow on the vehicle to know that the garage wasn't finished, no? |

In 2006 I thought about updating my will...by photom1946Comment: I'd say this needs some processing, or simply some moment of light that is more interesting than this very flat moment: there's no shape to those columns, no strong sense of organisation to the bare branches, and the gravestones are almost completely lost. |

To Dream A Little Moreby JudiComment: I/R? The most interesting I/R image I've seen, if it is. I dislike the twee-ness of it, the sentimentality, but i do like the shapes and details of the ferns and leaves. |

Back to College (When I Quit Procrastinating)by SandyPComment: Nice simple image, thought-out composition, effective light. Can you tell it doesn't excite me much? After the raft of truly dreadful stuff in this challenge though, it's great to see just a well crafted image. |

Going to Churchby StuckOnTheFarmComment: Good postcard image; I wonder if some will consider this shoe-horned in to the challenge, but I think it's well enough done to prevent that happening. i'm no huge fan of this really, but after some truly awful photographs, it's interesting to see something simply well photographed. |

My Garage - My Nemesisby timfythetooComment: Amidst that chaos, I think we need to have some formal movement to draw the eye through this image: some repetition, some specific colours, some leading lines, some distribution through the frame. |
