'extreme sports'by xtineComment: Just a marvellous image; I've seen it before, but i can't remember whose it is :-( There's a slight sense of distortion to it, that can';t quite be rationalised, but that adds the weirdest dynamic, and that edge of wonderfulness. |

Evening Lightby JedusiComment: Very pretty moment; looks almost unprocessed, which is a compliment. I would only say that a touch more feeling of sharpness and detail in the horse itself might add an adge. |

Colors by the Seaby DeniseBernadetteComment: Nicely done; the rest of, presumably, the fairground seems like a construction site, which just makes the circle of the wheel the more impressive. |

The General Store; Peppermints, Vanilla, Sasperilla and More.by GringoComment: Oddly, this has a look of selective saturation, rather than selective de-saturation. I like the feel, which is probably the old-fashioned thing, but those colours that are brought out seem artificially done: things like the flag, where the colours are quite muted, give the game away a little. |

The Riessersee and the Zugspitzeby The EskimoComment: The middle ground - the trees, seem over-lightened, without bringing the black areas back to where they should be. The light on the mountain tops is fine, but that middle ground lightening causes problems for the sweetness of the entirety. |

Slow Progressby BenComment: I like. The bench - a sense of a possible rest from her endeavours, is a very nice touch. A touch more control of light might have been effective - she perhaps disappears into the highlight lines across the road too much? Very strong composition. |

The Stormby manic35Comment: Strong photography - well balanced, great light, and with some human interest. For real pretty photography, I suspect people would like more detail and light in the foreground - but I'm not sure I actually know what the public want ;-) |

featherby directionsforpestComment: I like the processing of this; one point - with such detailed composition, the nature of the reflected light becomes just as important, and the clarity of the lampshade is a touch disturbing: the simple expedient of a piece of paper over the front of the lamp would help prevent that. Fine shot, otherwise. |
