Matrix: The Cold Blue Glow of Reality (tribute to e301's image 21678)by ahazeComment: Whoa.
To quote a , er, film.
This has the look of a 5x7 or even 4x6 torn photo - mine was 11x8 and thus getting the line of the tear much easier (ah, the voice of expertise). You've certainly got the colour balance of the top image - that's an important element to me - but your lower is a bit confused. Very flattering to be imitated however. |

Increased Prospects - image 61751by spectre013Comment: Immediately referencible (?), but different, and well done. the colours lack some punch I think - for this kind of set-up thing shouldn't you want big vibrant shades? The greens and yellows look a bit washed out to me. |

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!by KonadorComment: Cleaner and neater than the original, I would say. Unfortunately, I don't see that you've moved things on much from what was never a particular favourite of mine anyhow. Technically, it's beautifully done, absolutely flawless I would say. It still elicits a big 'so what?' from me though. |

Tribute to Smokeditor by SondaComment: Moody, sexy, wonderfully lit and shot. Almost an exact copy, except for the even more moody lighting. |

A Terrifying Thai Treatby dsb_macComment: Good light, good set-up; hasn't quite the hyper-designer look of the original, which was what to my mind gave it it's impact. The bug, though, looks no more appetising :-) |

Dang ...by GeneralEComment: Just doesn't have the clarity, and sense of composition, of the original. Great image to choose though. |

Diagonal Multiplicity (Inspired by Mundane Challenge Blue)by FalcComment: dang, I never knew how this fitted into the 'mundane' challenge, in the first place - at least tis certainly fits here :-) I still find it an uncomfortable shape, compositionally, though this is a good approach. I personally think it needs to be set against the genuine mundanity of te Brum skyline to stand the best chance of working as a shot, but never got a chance in the week i spent there last August. Good work here though. |

Communication - Vintage Mailboxesby TuckersmomComment: Good strong light, effectively caught. you placing of your depth of field in regard to your composition is also strong - quite a nice shot. Sufferes in comparison with Thamer's original, if only in sheer sense of scale, but I like what you gain in detail. |
