I think cropping the down to just the swan and the water would have better fit this challenge. However, I do like this image overall.

As a picture this is too dark with very little contrast and not color. For this challenge, the subject, what ever it is, is way to weak. If it weren't for that tiny spec of grey near the center, I would almost think this was just a picture of a black piece of paper. The challenge asks for the subject to be strong and stand out from the back ground. Perhaps a light or a lighted object of some sort might have really changed this photo's chances in the challenge.
