Sweet Thirteenby edmengComment: Beautiful portrait. I would like to know the details of this shot, especially how you got the starburst in her eyes. |

Qantab Tunnel.JPGby dssagent88Comment: I actually like the surrealistic look. I would be interested in what you do after you play around with the selective saturation. |

Modest Henna Woman.jpgby dssagent88Comment: I love this photo, but then again, I am a sucker for all those "eye" photos. I like the fact that you can barely see her left eye. |

INSOLENCE [ Andrzej Dragan] by whiteroomComment: This is beautiful photo, everything is perfect, and the photographer definitely deserved to win the blue ribbon.
I do have some questions though, why would ANYONE give this photo a vote of less than than a 6? I understand that the voting is subjective, but there is no way anyone would think this is a below average photo, yet 39 or about 15% of the voters thought it was below average. It would appear that some people give those photographs who they view as competition, a low score to improve their ranking in the contest. I am new here, but is this common? Fence in her rebellious spiritby shoggyComment: DNMC. I would have rated this photo a 9 or 10 except for the fact there was not a physical fence involved. I love the color, tone and the subtle touches such as the old wall behind her. Very intense beautiful and well photo, IMO, it just wasn't the right photo for this competion.
Please keep submtitted more, I love your work. |
