Out of the box composition for a candid I feel, certainly not a crime in my book. Great depth and processing, but the single biggest selling point for me was that you managed to catch the child in midair, nice work.

He's a beautiful little boy Mike, and your right, there's not much you can do to pose them at that age. It's really hard to be truly objective with photos of your own children and it's a good composition, there's just no wow factor for those with no emotional attachment. Welcome to the joys of parenthood, your life will never be the same, in a good way.
