light mallardsby tnunComment: I like the bottom half of this one a lot. Those ducks move along when they are flying, so I know that this was not an easy one to get. |

Backyard Herpetologyby WriteHeartComment: This is one kind of surprise that you never forget if it's really close when the buzzer goes off. Having a resident black snake or gopher snakes will keep these critters away from your yard.
That's a nice tight shot of the snake. I think that even if the rattler was in focus, it would not be sharp due to motion blur. |

Don't Jump! by PennyStreetComment: Well done! It's an excellent fit for the challenge as well, as shown by your new ribbon! The B&W gives it a connection to the old movies where they used this sort of shot for a dramatic scene. |

05065by pixelpigComment: I'm not sure how you did this, but I do like the effect. The subject and perspective are a very good match for the processing effect. |

Seascapeby GermaineComment: The colors in this look very much like a film shot. The amount of blur is just right for the effect of diminishing the details without making it too abstract. |

Lava Rock Sunriseby cginoComment: You did a spectacular processing job to get this from the three that you started with. It's a place that I would like to photograph someday. Fortunate you, got to go there and see the sunrise as it was happening for this shoot. : ) |

Walking on Water by vawendyComment: These little snowy egrets are really fun to watch when they are fishing. If the water is deeper, they swoop along dragging their feet in the water to bring up the fish. In shallower water, they jump and run along like this with their wings out when feeding. I don't know if they are looking for the fish to run because of their wings being out, or if they are shading the water so that they can see better. In any case, it's a show to see. You snagged the action perfectly with this one. |

Crazy Daisiesby jomariComment: I like the almost sharpness in the center of this one. The light streaking does a nice job of spreading the color joy. |

February Sunriseby DeniseComment: The bit of ice on the rock gives this a little different twist by indicating that it is not all warm and tropical there. Nicely done. |
