Soaring highby jgirl57Comment: Sharpening, either in camera, or in processing may be what caused the grain in the clouds, and the halo around the eagle.
It's tough to keep detail in both parts of a shot like this with a dark colored bird against a bright sky.
Composition & subject are great though. |

Clouds are not the cheeks of angels, you know They're only cloudsby pmichaudComment: I didn't vote, but thought this was beautiful when i saw it.
Great title too.
Hope your shoulder will improve soon.
I use one of the little Canon SX 510 HS cameras for a walkabout camera, and love it. It's a powerful little tool in a small light package. Message edited by author 2016-01-22 00:08:07. |

The moment she realizedby markwileyComment: Perfect scene and composition with the subject. Any more would be too much, and any less would not be enough.
Great impact in this photo. |

Mail in the Countryby IvoryComment: You found some nice color in an otherwise pretty blah landscape.
I did a second take to see that the white ribbon was not a hole in the tree trunk.
The blue on the box serves as a reminder that the sky will be blue again someday. |

Classic Glassby giantmikeComment: Beautiful use of color, composition, and f1.4.
I also like that it's not blindingly bright anywhere in the image. |
