Dancerby GermaineComment: I've been zapped! Grand colors and action in this, and even more lifelike by the bit of motion blur going on. |

Blur (City) Streetby KelliComment: The blur takes out the urge to focus on individual people and objects in the scene, reducing it to just the elemental feel of the street scene, sort of like being there, but not keenly interested in the details. Good stuff! |

pioneerby posthumousComment: Superb title! It completes the experience in the image and makes the DOF even tighter. |

The Architectby Bear_MusicComment: It seems joyful to see you having so much fun with your new glass, even to the point of shooting candid snapshots of people. The eye focus and thread comment are top shelf. So, does this count as architectural photography? Go Robert! |

Beautiful Weedsby KatmystiryComment: Simple in color, complex in form and texture, pleasing to see. You were "seeing" good when you spotted this and decided that it would make a nice image. |

Early morning shoppersby MelethiaComment: Slow shutter and people in motion combined get the effect of watching a very busy place in the way that you would see the action, but not be focusing in on one spot in it.

Pismo Beach 4by slickchikComment: Lovely little layers of overlapping wavyness light and darkness in this one. Nice find, and good angle to get the spark that was there. |

The Engine of our "Prosperity"by hahn23Comment: I like it, just like this! It resonates with the soul of the machinery in this, and connects with me because it's something that I could probably build if necessary. I would have loved to see this aparatus in motion. Thanks for sharing your cool looking find. |

starterby bspurgeonComment: Nice find. I probably know what the inside of that box looks like, since I work with vegetable packing equipment. Each electric motor in a big machine is powered through a disconnect switch like those on the wall, and also has a "starter" which is actually an overload to protect the motor.

Nuts-Oby JudiComment: Hi Judi! This is a nice "out of the box" shot, not at all your normal style. I like the creamy color in this personally but feel that it would have scored higher as a B&W. The paint completely covers the metal, and makes it look as though it might be plastic in this one.
I admire that you probably knew that this would not ribbon, but shared it with us anyway. |
