Portland Zoo #23by ace flymanComment: The "steam" adds another dimension to this display. You chose a good point of view for this shot. |

I don't like photographers...by redpandaComment: That's a classy lens to be birding with. That little viewfinder trick sounds like a very good idea. I would guess that the hawk might have been hearing your lens focusing, although it is ultrasonic to us. |

Dec 23 - Kerststolby hajekaComment: That looks like a special treat.
A little rub with oil or butter would make the cutting board darker, and hide the scratches in it as well. That would make the contrast better to accent the light colored bread. |

Snow tunnelby StarbananaComment: The simple single line up the middle contrasts nicely with the very detailed rest of the shot. |

Dec 22 - Circusby hajekaComment: It must be tough to be a gypsy that far north in the winter time. At least they have tents, but I would bet that snow or freezing rain would be a real problem with a big tent.
That is a big dash of bright color in the otherwise drab winter landscape. |

Winter window viewby redpandaComment: This is a big change from the last image you posted ;
If you use tungsten/incandescent white balance, you will not have the orange snow, and the sky will be a deep blue. : ) |
