IMG_5794-blurry-poolby Bear_MusicComment: This is quite unlike anything I have seen you do before. The distortion and blur take the edge off the scene and allow your mind to fill in the blanks. It sort of makes me feel that I should reach in a grab the scene and lock it into my memory before it fades completely away. It connects in a good way on a different level than the perfect, sharp, exact images that you normally produce. |

Edit166by mbrutus2009Comment: It looks like you made it up to the lodge at Many Glacier. You didn't happen to see an 18-70 mm bumping around in the falls under the bridge did you? : ) You got a great sky for this shot. Thanks for sharing the beautiful reminders.
Here's one of my shots at that location. I recognized the snow patches on the one cliff face.
If your iso/ap/ssp/ numbers are correct, then it must have been very bright light, or the original was pretty dark. Message edited by author 2010-08-09 00:35:27. |

Edit175by mbrutus2009Comment: I thought it was pretty crazy that these things get big as softballs up there. They are only about the size of a quarter here in Florida. You did a good thing by making this B&W to highlight the seed pod. |

Black Eyed Susansby PennyStreetComment: I love these things. We have them in huge patches here in early October. They cover huge pastures in some places. Maybe this year I will take a day off and go shoot some photos of them. Thanks for the reminder. |

Inverted Geeseby scooter97Comment: That's a fun edit, and interesting because it's so different. I can see this being used for background for a Bass Pro Shops ad.
They aren't inverted, they are right side up : ) |
