The way the angles in all the lines fit in this make it pretty cool, even without the underlying humanitarian theme. All around a good image. The desat & toning is right for this too.

It's funny that the first thing that I think about seeing this is that it took a lot of work to build all of that. The angles, lines, and difference in brightness of the railings make this one look almost 3 D.

Did you shift this toward blue so that the flag would show up like that? It makes this into a sort of "busy minimal" shot. I like the sparkles on the water in this too.

I like the way you washed out the detail in the upper part of the wall so that it's just a shape and color. The curb makes a pretty good framing element too. The reflections are grand in this one too.

The high contrast B&W presents this scene in a way that color or greyscale could not match. The details pop out in every part of the image. It's good stuff here.
