I see that you've caught me in a PMS moment...either that or, when I run out of Diet Pepsi! LOL Actually, the crop, the DOF, the colors....everything works so well together to make it an "in your face" photo that grabs attention.

It's not the esthetically pleasing shot that a lot of DPCers go for but, there's something about the fact that you want to know what that shot turned out like that makes this shot so interesting! :)

I like the fact that the light falls on the man in the foreground, highlighting him as the main subject. It's very dark and contrasted. The one thing that it makes me ask myself is "what is it that the photographer wanted me to see in this...what is the reason?" But, then again, with dozens of flowers and insect shots in this challenge, I'd likely say that I'm getting far more out of this shot than the eye candy shots :)
