Schedelby colorcarnivalComment: Congratulations Mich! You are really advancing! I can't believe the leaps and bounds that you've made over the time. Absolutely STUNNING image! Love it!
Duhhhhh......what's an IR?
Looks like a place that I'd like to be. The mirror like effect on the water is just fabulous. Congrats on your top 10 finish. Shoulda scored much higher! |

Perfect Little Beadsby colorcarnivalComment: You have such a talent in terms of seeing a very "artsy" style of shot! There are a lot of people in here who truly appreciate and love this type of "eye" for shots like this. Keep up your "vision" from behind your lens because DPC's tastes have a certain "flavor" to their preferences thus far, BUT......that's slowly changing now! I see it coming! Please enter this in some of the other sites too! PUHHHLEEEEZZZZE! :) |

West Fallsby LonzComment: lovely curves to the flow of water! The processing certainly brings out the colors, but somehow, personally, it doesn't fit. The brown water with the green grass, just doesn't seem to work together well. Perhaps, having left it in a sepia hue with a high contrast??? |

Catch & Releaseby LuDeLushComment: Wow, this has an intriguing angle to this shot! Man at level with nature. Love the angle to this shot! |

Perfect Little Beadsby colorcarnivalComment: Lovely! How dynamic. Love the depth of color of the leaf and the light coming through each drop/bead. Even the air bubbles inside each bead. Wonderful capture! Nicely edited. |

Daintyby colorcarnivalComment: OMG......this is a great image! A dirty hand, daintily picks up a hankerchief, trying not to dirty it!
Contrary to some voter's tastes.....I think that the processing actually MAKES this shot.
But, then again, there's always going to be those who will want you to rip out a wall, change the color of someone's hair, pose the model upside down and completely overhaul your shot in order for them to "like it"! *grin*
Great Job Michelle! I didn't vote in this challenge, but I love this shot! Keep up the good work. Just because it doesn't fit into DPC challenge "criteria" of "pretty", doesn't mean that it lacks value and merit elsewhere! *smile*
PS: Perhaps, a "dirty booby" might have scored higher! But, then again, one never knows in here! *wink* Message edited by author 2008-04-14 00:21:04. |

Center of the Universeby dsmilComment: Your model is center of picture, but in my tastes, this isn't "tastefully done". It's got a more "snapshot-tacky porn" look to it. I don't mind nude shots as some of them can be quite tastefully beautiful, but this particular shot just screams "shock vote value" rather than artistic class. |

The End of the Rainbowby colorcarnivalComment: warm, cool colors.......who cares? It's a great shot with a lot of vivid colors that catch attention! Very eye grabbing and would likely make a terrific blow up on a canvas for an office area!!! Really love this shot! Very artsy-abstract! |
