WOW! My first 10.... This is beautiful!
The color looks natural and not over saturated. Great depth of field from the foreground leaves back to the last trees. Very nice color combo with the rich green against the red leaves.

The position of the white hat against the dark background along with the white shirt, completely balances the shot in the frame. I have shot enough concerts and festivals to know how difficult it is to capture a shot this clean and crisp. The clarity is impressive. I do like the unusual colorcast, it's a bit on the green side on my monitors. I can't help but wonder how many will see this as brown, red or yellow due to monitor calibration. (Just a ramble of thought).

A little mid-tone compression might bring out more depth to the clouds and more definition to the canyon. The colors are very real and not over done. This is one of my favorite in the challenge.

The Great Smoky Mountains

The clear rich colored hill in the foreground is so perfectly placed. It brings an element of distance into the shot. I think by giving this a little mid tone compression you can bring out a little more of the detail on the ridges. This is just an incredible view and an excellent photograph!

Lighthouse

Aaah, The Portland Lighthouse in Chicago. I love the panoramic crop on this. The placement is good. The sky has just a little more grain in it than I like in my sky and the color could use just a slight boost i think to give the sky and the red roof a little more punch. (that's a personal preference thing). Over-all, a great shot...

Barren Boughs

This is so dynamic. It has everything. It is simplistic yet has wonderful texture and detail. It has great complimentary colors and contrast. Each of the elements are perfectly spaced and it doesn̢۪t feel crowded. You have just the right amount of grass. The shape of the branches, the colors and the softness of the grass give it a surreal feel.

The border is a little bold for my taste, I think I would cut it down to about ½ of it’s current size.
