...Back to the Drawing Boardby tfarrell23Comment: A very different take on the challenge to those which I have seen so far...and none the worse for it. Simple and effective due to the great dof and composition (great script as well) |

He just passed on his way to Santaland!by korpenComment: Stunning winter landscape...So many lovely things in this picture, the crispness and clarity of it, the reverse s curve but it is the trees that get me, as you appear to go from standard colour on the road to duotone in the background. The transformation is done very gently (with the light doing the job on the trees by the road) but the overall effect is very impressive |

Coming Back to Earthby Pug-HComment: very nice shot great colouring on the balloon and superb sharpness. I just wonder what it might have ooked like with the ground cropped out so it appeared that it was high in the sky as the markers and the green open shed like thing are a bit distracting
A minor point on a lovely image |

I'm in Italy, don't disturb, please!by Rino63Comment: Well done on both meeting the challenge perfectly (the hooded figure is a great touch) and also producing such a beautiful image. Love the composition and colours and the skyline almost looks like an erupting volcano
Gret job |

b&w raindrops.jpgby saltwatershotsComment: Very nice capture and use of dof, great sharpness on 'key' raindrops.
Sour - The border seems to be uneven/slightly skew whiff, especially left to right. This may be because it is a translucent one and the colours beneath it vary thus creating an optical illusion, but it is quite distracting |

razor wire.jpgby saltwatershotsComment: I guess the skill of a great photographer is the ability to see beauty in ugly things. How anyone can turn razor wire into something reminiscent of wheat gently blowing on a summers breeze is beyond me
Fantastic lines, great sharpness and I love the way the razor wire goes from black to silver on each loop. The blue translucent frame works well.
Sour..none really...maybe play with the blue and cyan hues and sat to darken the sky slightly |
