Super portrait of a beautiful animal. I love the way he is looking directly at the camera, it is almost a liitle disquietening (in a good way if that makes sense) as it takes you aback because you feel that he is REALLY looking at you as you examine the shot. Super focus and I like the fact that the background adds colour without being overpowering

My sour comment perhaps goes some way to explaining why one can never tell how a picture is going to do in the challenge, because I dont like the softened border. I think it is to do with the fact that because the sky is so light it just appears rather than seeming continuous (the place where it appears is also about 1/3rd down the image so it possibly attracts the eye more than it should do

I really like the effect that the acid treatment you applied has, any chance of doing a smple tutorial on this so others (well me at least could have a go at it)

Love the composition so that we can only see half of the mechanic and the repeating pillars give a great effect

The planet or another planet, because if you told me this was Mars I would believe you. Wonderful landscape and the haze just adds to the sense of other worldliness. Colour is superb and the POV magical

This shot goes well beyond mere landscape and becomes a thing of beauty in itself. I have no idea how you got the effect of the red on the inner side of the mountain in the forground and the one in the far background but it is fantastic, and sets the red hue in the clouds off to perfection

I thought this was a great shot. I loved the shallow dof and for me the border worked well. 5.75 is a good score but I think it deserved much higher

Wow...definitely a photo that stops you in your tracks when you see it. Just so many wonderful elements it is hard to know where to start. Love the clouds, the colour of the hut and the textures of the sand. The slightly 'off' tilt just adds to the impact. Like the fact that although there appears to be a significant amount of PP that you have stopped before you enter the realm of digital art
