Memoriesby GiorgioComment: I like the high perspective, but for me the bike is a little too much to the right. You focus seems to be on the wall & not the bike, too. I do like the idea, subject & tones, though & it does conjure up memories... -- 8 -- |

friendsby sigrun_thComment: Beautiful tones - I'm usually a fan of shallow DOF, but I think this composition craves deeper DOF. I like this one, though! -- 8 -- |

Guitar Loverby OmanOtterComment: That's a great shot - my kids have learned to pull the guitar out from under the couch when they want me to play (even the youngest who is only 16 months old!).
Oh, and I used to have an Ovation like that - now I play a Rainsong... |

Eagle 004by ShutterPugComment: These eagle shots are real beauties, Linda! I've been coveting a long lens like that Sigma for awhile now. Be nice to grab some eagle shots like this up in the Keweenaw... |

The Great & Powerful Ronby BlackboxComment: I missed this one - it was a busy time for me, I had to stop voting & didn't even enter challenges in the 2 months that followed - but, man, I would have been all over this one! Technically a little weak, but what a GREAT idea! You should have stopped down more (f/11 or 16) and just gone with a longer exposure - the iron wasn't going anywhere! That would have deepened your focus so that everything would have been sharper. That and more ominous lighting (from below with a little bounce from above) and you would have easily broke 6.0 on this one...
Going through your images is fun - what you sometimes lack in execution you more than make up for in creativity... |
