Lone Cypressby bryanbrazilComment: Excellent image - love the softness of the water and the crispness of the tree and rocks. |

After The Storm by DJWoodwardComment: the b/w treatment is fabulous and the lighting and quality of the contrast of the snow and shadow and sky and trees is on the money 10 |

Approaching Darknessby PrismComment: Wow! This is a perfect example of rule of third - that sliver of orange really sets this image off |

waterby dog007Comment: What a great location - I see a couple things that I would recommend modifying to improve the 'wow' of this great area.
First, you have a good perspective showing taking a relatively low angle at the land in front of you and having the hill/mountain in the top 1/3 of the image. But, the ground/water is really dark and could benefit from a little brightening (dodge/burn) or some HDR type approaches. Secondly, the sky has a bit of noise in it. Third, the image seems a little soft - I think a little USM to bring out the great detail in the rock could help. |

DEEPby ericwooComment: Great location and nice perspective - would have liked this a little better with a little more balance between the sky and the bright grasses in the foregroung - the grasses and rocks in the foreground almost seem too bright compared to the sky above |

Windy day after a stormby gdub1189Comment: i like the effort here to try something a little different from the DPC standard fare - the grain is pretty good except for a few small areas in the sky that appear a little blotchy.
I think having the path not run directly off to the side would have helped 'the story' of this image - it appears almost too abrupt as it currently runs away so hard to the right |
