Great Job Brin - Fabulous image - Congrats on the Red Ribbon - clearly an inspired work both technically and from a challenge perspective.

What I find amazing is how seven voters could rate this as a 3 or lower...but I don't think we will ever understand some voting patterns.

If we could get into their heads to hear what they are thinking, maybe something like this ..."Let me see...yes..it has a church and a priest/pastor...it is well photographed...sharp, well illuminated, well composed...it appears to be consistent with the challenge...and it is nice to look at....hmmm...I guess I should give it a 2"

i like the colors and composition but there is a lot of grain in the sky that distracts a little - smooth it out and you have a monster shot

Nicely cropped image - I like the lighting and colors of the Cross. I think the area where this photo needs some work is on sharpness. I tried some USM (125,0.3,0) 2x to give it a little more bite. I think it would have scored better.

I originally gave it a 7 - middle of the road but I went back through these images and realized how good this photo is...absolutely perfect for this challenge. It tells a very subtle story and follows the best concepts of the challenge. 10. My personal favorite in the challenge.
