stating the obviousby notamartyrComment: I like the idea, the legs at the top of the frame, and head and shoulders in the lower half. The scummy pond is kind of yucky, though. |

Can You See Me??by SteveJComment: Oh, there's Waldo! Peeking out from behind the bush. Nice, even lighting, nice and sharp. I'm just not sure the scene is that interesting. |

Where's Waldo ?by sfarrell23Comment: Yep, there's Waldo! Nice b&w conversion. The lighting and contrast are great. The scene seems a bit busy, especially with the sign on the left side, and the extra pole right in the middle. |

The studentby Rino63Comment: Clean and sharp. The bottom half of the image seems a bit dark, but it would be hard to do anything about that without either using a GND filter, or adjusting the top and bottom separately in photoshop. |

Imposterby ElliottjmsComment: Great idea! Nice, even lighting, good and sharp. The composition seems pretty well balanced, too. It seems a bit snapshot-ish, using the woman working at the desk as your Waldo. It might have worked better to have a real person, possibly in costume, interacting with one of the mannequins. |

In the Shadowsby hyperfocalComment: It took me awhile to find Waldo, he's really hidden in the shadows. Nice graphic image, but I think overall, the shadows might be a bit too dark. I'm guessing there's probably some nice detail in the shadows that I'm not seeing (besides Waldo). |

The Woods are Lovely, Dark and Deepby pmichaudComment: I haven't found Waldo yet, but I'm sure he's there...a nice shot of the woods. Nice and sharp, good colors. The light is pretty harsh, though, and the focus point seems to be the bright patch of dirt in the lower center. |

The Shared Umbrella by MelethiaComment: Well deserved ribbon. Congratulations! In my mind, the B&W is better, because it distills the image down to what's really important....rain, couple, umbrella. The color version is watered down by other elements that draw attention away from the rain, the couple, and the umbrella. |

Out of the Fogby alexjackComment: It's a lovely shot, and if I'd voted in this challenge, I would have probably given it a 7. If the guy's face were clearer, it would have been an 8 or 9. As to why it didn't score better overall...the one time I entered a foggy photo, I got the comment, "where are the white and black colors in this capture... So few colors on the scale of 256.." DPC rewards images that are more simple and obvious than this one is. |
