Mountian Moon Riseby scarbrdComment: Difficult to appreciate the photo because of the reflection, The shore line cuts the image almost in half and I find I am looking up, then down - never at the whole photo, plus everything converges in the center and I realize I never really did look at the sky. I really like color contrast of right buildings to the b&w building on the left. |

Sunset over the motorwayby kevip6Comment: I relly like the photo, but the glare of the first light post really competes with the horizon. When I squint from a distance, it over powers the composition. Given the editing latitude, could that have been taken out? |

Cut in Halfby littlegettComment: I like the color transition. The jet trail takes me into the photo over and over again. |

Spokesby StrikeslipComment: I like the concept, but I focus more on the buildings. While the buildings do lead me to the sky, I find the buildings more interesting to look at. Then I considered a metaphor like skyscaper and scored after considerable time reinterpreting. |

Scraping the Skiesby NefirComment: I like the point of view and the converging sun rays to the horizon line. Fun to look at! |

A Face in the Cloudsby BrianRComment: I like the imagery. The arch of the planes, especially the 1st one on the left...including the space from the next plane, keeps my eye rolling over the photo again and again. The combination of cloud direction (upper/lower masses)does much the same for me. Your use of sepia tone focuses on the composition that I admire so much. |

The Coal Miner's Candleby shamerComment: I love the "real" look of working hands! Looks like my dad's hands after 50 years as a mechanic. Thanks for the peek at you work. |
