Enjoy the Lakeby rlewisComment: Greetings from the critique club!
Lots to like in this shot.
A simple but effective pose
A great complimentary serene background
The model is nicely engaged with the camera
It could do with a little more contrast I think but that's subjective.
I think the only reason it didn't do better is because even though its well done it wasn't a whole lot different than a lot of entries. The top entries generally had something just a little extra.
Overall though its a great entry. |

Memories of a childhoodby hajekaComment: Judging from the book I am guessing you are dutch. Unique take on the challenge. Perhaps putting a rope into the picture and some flowers or something might have added to the shot. |

Homageby TammerComment: Not sure how a woody will be received but oh well.
That aside you have some blown highlights on woody's arm which draw the eye away from everything else in the scene. |

Desert Cowboyby qvfd153Comment: A little dark. I'd like to see more light on his body as well as his face. I like the emotion captured in what I can see of his face. Unfortunately, our sad cowboy has a cactus growing out of his hat. |

Lone Rangerby StructorComment: Looks more like The Man with No Name (ie The character Clint Eastwood portrays in The Good The Bad and The Ugly as well as a Fistful of Dollars and a Few Dollars more).
Aside from that, the mood is great in this shot and is definitely a good depiction of the rugged western gunslinger. A fun interpretation of the challenge. |

A Moment of Silenceby sfmorrisComment: Nice tribute. I really like the pastoral feeling you've captured. The horse appears to be bowing his head in silence too. I can also see he wants to sniff at the model too! :)
Great capture and one that I am sure Sean would have liked. |
