"Garden book case"by redpandaComment: Interesting take on the subject. The colors are a bit oversaturated and the light is quite harsh. Straightening the picture so that the book shelf was vertical may help as well. I am wondering how this would look if shot vertically to match the orientation of the book shelf.
The choice of using the book shelf is interesting because I think a lot of people think chair when thinking of furniture but a book shelf certainly applies to the topic. |

Roughly madeby KaizerComment: Simple yet effective. The tree in the foreground could potentially be a distraction but the vignetting helps blend it in to the scene. I like the positioning of the girls as it helps create a relationship between them visually and helps anchor the scene. Its also interesting that they are sitting in line with the brightest part of the scene which helps draw your eye to them.
Great shot with a nice story being told. |

Still My Couch of Choice by hotpastaComment: Wow. Love the black and white conversion. Great texture in the dog and the couch. (They both seem sooo soft and inviting!). Exposure is really well handled. I am not fond of the border but it doesn't hurt the image either.
Composition is really good and I like the angle you shot this at. I can imagine you tried lower angles but this is really different and gives a fresh look to the shot.
I really can't say enough good things about this shot. This is my second image I've voted on and unless I see 3 shots that outdo this one, I am predicting this will be a ribbon winner! |

A moose reading tableby hajekaComment: I imagine someone will point this out but I'll say it anyways: stuffed animals tend to get slammed.
That being said, I think its a cute idea and pretty well executed. Unfortunately you stapled the poor moose's antler to the top of the frame. You also have a rather unfortunate lens flare near his head. (That can be edited out under advanced rules however not under basic). Handy tip to help prevent flares like this: Clean your lens before you start shooting. (A rule I should probably remember myself!)
The glasses are a nice touch and add to the cuteness factor. Tucking his tag under him would have been a good idea. I like the page you chose in the book. (I wonder how you could have had the book stay open better...tough one to pull off).
Overall, an interesting idea that captures the viewers attention. |

UFO or Mothership??by SteveJComment: I believe you could have cloned out the string to the kite. Then again, you might have left it in deliberately too. |

Emeraldby KelliComment: not really a fan of the processing. The shadows are really blocked up and have lost a lot of detail which I think could add to the scene. |

Robyneby Hey_You_3000Comment: the selective desat doesn't work for me here. I find its most effective when what you are leaving in color is fairly significant in the frame rather than just a small portion of it. |
