Hmm...the sepia conversion really takes away from the richness of the colors that were probably in the original.

This photo has a nice ephemeral feel to it. It utilizes the colors nicely and meets the challenge well by drawing focus to the brown log.

This looks like its been a little oversaturated in post processing. The reds of the peanut skins (?) are red to the point of distraction. Great composition though. I like the angle and visual distribution of elements.

The thick border detracts from the image. I am also not really seeing brown as a focus so much as just another color amongst others.

I like the simplicity and composition of this shot. I consider brown to be a warm color and this really gives a feeling of comfort.
