Excellent capture. A smaller border would have helped a lot though. You sacrificed a larger shot of the subject to create a large band of white.

Otherwise this is terrific.

the reflection on the red apple looks strange (almost like a discoloration rather than a reflection) I do like the lighting on this though.

Thumbs Up Is Good

I like the idea here. Perhaps if it was just the hand it would be a bit stronger. You also don't have to tell us that thumbs up is good. I think we might already know that. Helping the viewer out with the title is one thing but you don't have to thump them over the head with it.

That aside I like the detail shown in the hand. The person is really just a distraction. When you are composing, decide what you want to be the subject and then decide what elements to add to that. (I should maybe try that out myself now that I think of it.)

I know we all don't speak French on this site but the translation in the title may be a little bit extraneous and a bit insulting to our intelligence.

You captured some interesting shadows on the bow of the boat and I really like the detail in the clouds.

Too small for starters. Use the whole allowable size when submitting (or close to it).

The sky is far too dark and oversaturated.

I like how you have approached the challenge however. This is an interesting take on "good" and one that I don't believe I have seen yet.
