The foot with the tennis shoe on blends in to well with the vase in the bg. I think using a different bg would have helped this quite a bit. I love the idea though.

roflmao..... The dichotomy I see is not boy/girl but more like love/hate as she kisses him while choking the **** out of him. And he's oblivious to the whole dichotomy... lol :) Adorable!!! Just a bit high key on his hair but its hard when they're that blond to avoid it. Maybe just a bit tighter crop on the right to put them in more of the thirds position and get rid of the oof background on that side (not that its distracting but I think it would help the shot).

Hmmm... took me a sec to get this. My first thought was what does water have to do with this shot and then it hit me. The challenge is Dichotomy so the title is the opposing idea from what's in the shot and the fire appears to be reflecting itself (mirror maybe) which would give the water side of it. Pretty cool idea. And if that's not what you meant that's okay cause I like the way I see it.

4th of July? Or something else. Fits the challenge and technically fine. My only nitpick would be (and the is personal preference of course) if all the lines were evenly going away from that center light point. For the most part they are but those few with jagged turns are the ones that I'm speaking of. Depending on what it is and how you shot it I don't know that there was anything you could have done differently to accomplish what I'm saying but that would make the shot go with the title better for me.
