Greater dof would work better here because the bottom left needs to be in focus imo. Love the composition and contrast of the leaf. It would be a much different (and boring) photo without it. Having great texture is the point of the challenge but there are a few shots that are nothing but the texture with no place to focus on. Good job.

The shadow play helps add texture here. On the left it's about shadow and light and on the right the contrast in color is good as well as the droplets of water.

This is a pretty cool image. Great texture, technical is done very well. Only thing I can think of is that if there was something to show scale. Especially if it is a large area where putting a person in the shot would only take a small portion.

For some reason this looks obscene. lol. Very well lit and exposed!! I can't think of a single thing to say to improve this shot. Technically or even subject choice. There just happens to be some great wow shots out there imo.

Brutality of Time

Yeah my body says time is brutal too. lol. Well done. The dof works well because most of it is in focus but the bright part on the top right isn't which is a good thing since it is way up over there. That keeps me looking inside the photo instead of drawing me out.
