Can't decide if I like the dof here or not. On one hand it helps bring the eye into that great texture but on the other hand that bottom right corner isn't attractive. Maybe just a little crop off the bottom or recomposing toward the top left but keeping the same dof? Not sure. Technicals look great and it isn't monotonous with a single texture/pattern over the entire photo.

A bit more off the bottom would get rid of that oof dark part but still not compromise the shot. Overall well done. Maybe a bit too saturated for my taste but I see it as the artists choice and not really overdone. Looks like maybe a little too sharpened though.

This is another shot that has great technicals and great texture. But as I've noted on some of the other ones, I think having something else in the shot would help it. Having just texture (which I realize is the challenge topic) makes for a monotonous photograph. Adding something minimally into the shot gives the eye something to rest on and take a breath before exploring or going back to the texture. I like the border here though.

mmmmm. Great shot. Not noisy, good comp, good contrast, well exposed. Hmm... I like to try to give something though for improvement. I do like the composition here but maybe it would be better to have recomposed and put it more to the bottom right. I'd have to see it that way to know for sure. Just a thought.

After 230 comments so far, I'm finding that the shots I score higher have great texture like yours does but also something else in the shot to break up the monotony of the texture. This is well done overall with great lighting, good dof choice for the subject, good contrast.... technically it's good and it fits the challenge. It just needs something to break up the monotony of the shot.

I like it. Texture is the subject but it isn't monotonous because you have added interest with the large water drop on the top right and I like the colors here.
