It's Days are Numbered...by JEFFJSBComment: Another picture that I think could have been greatly enhanced by Contrast/Brightness twizzles and some colour saturation. Maybe even a tighter crop...? |

the memories of treesby skewsmeComment: Delicate, lovely, tending towards photographic fine art. So much spidery detail but it all converges to the centre. 9 |

Another Placeby salmiakkiComment: Weird and haunting...SO much potential in this. But with some dodging you could have brought out the details on his body. and made him less "insignificant" in his own shadows...if you know what I mean. Maybe a tighter crop from the top and then some lightening of his body...? I think I would even have preferred a colour version so that the Contrast function cold have been used to its maximum advantage. |

Standing Guardby razor093Comment: This is good, but I think it could have been greatly enhanced by some Brightness/Contrast treatment or a colour saturation twizzle. |

Driftsby ellamayComment: Almost looks like a figure under a sheet...hypnotic in a way. |

Girl with no Earringby NazgulComment: One of my all-time favourite paintings...but I am sad to see that you left out/neglected the primary detail...the pearl earring ...? I wonder why you went for that option instead of a full recreation. It's so clear and precise that at first glance it looks like the painting and then you look again and it's not...part of the great effect this has.
Fantastic notion though: this could lead to a whole challenge topic - Recreating the Master's Works. |
