the back ground is too distracting for me. It would have worked wonderfully with a dark, forboding set. then again I might be confused about the intent of the photo. was it viking vs biker, or incongruency of viking in a modern town?

Dragonfly Pearched on a Weed

how are these unrelated? Don't you always see a dragonfly perched like this? technically, the background is nicely OOF. however, the insect and weed are also slightly OOF. the colors are muted. i would have liked to see more contrast and sharpness. also, remember the rule of thirds, and place that dragonfly in a location other than smack dab in the middle (lends to a boring composition). not trying to be harsh, just helpful.
