good DoF choice, colours are very drab though - maybe a touch under exposed /dark ?

Also, to pick nits, the rear out of focus red bloom is merging with the foreground stem , a slight change of location would help with that.

I think I'd like this more with the reds more muted and the saturation not punched up quite so much - its looking really unnatural.

CCC: You are right in your comments that it is a bit cutsie, but I think the soft focus is subtly done and works quite well to give an 'etheral glow' to the people.

Compositionally, the shot seems a bit too balanced between the brown at the bottom and the green regions at the top - I think maybe less water would work well.

The way you've framed the people works well to focus on them.

Its funny how many 'doesn't meet the challenge' comments this got! The almost neon green saves it and makes it interestingly abstract - but still lacking much punch or excitment. Certainly a good choice of a different angle.
