Under an Alien Moon by AlexSaberiComment: Awesome shot!!! I would be interested in how you got this capture as well, long exposure and spot light to illuminate?? Just a guess...I also have to agree and disagree with the comment on non post processing, yes it is important to compose and (for lack of a better term) get right as many elements of a photo as possible in camera, but as Ansel Adams once said the important thing is the final image, how you get there is of little importance...(not an exact quote I am sure, but you get the idea) if the final image is good how you arrive at it is of little consequence...IMO. Photoshop usage, or manipulation is an art form in and of itself...you have to have the image you want to portray in mind before you start to get the end result you want, and I know (at least for me) Photoshop (or similar programs) are not a lot of help since I am not very adapt at using them, lol. Anyway, off my soap box...GREAT PHOTO!!!! Job well done...congrats!!! |

Broken Strings, Broken Dreamsby CharleneComment: Well, for what it's worth, I understood it...I didn't come from a background of wealth and plenty either. Take solice in the fact that there a few people that do get it and 75 votes at or over 6 thats cool!!!
Thanks for the vote in the tree challenge, from the comments I have received I get the impression that a lot of people thought I had Photoshopped the image!!! No it's just the Oklahoma wind at work, as I am sure are familier with being from Kansas.
Trust me your not the only one with a weekness at conveying messages photographicly....lol. |
