I've been an admirer of your images ever since I saw them for the first time. Your tutorials on astrophotography are exceptional. I am glad you thought of combining earthly objects with the sky, I suspect that made the difference as far a dpc voters. This is an outastanding image and a long overdue ribbon. It is good to have another dpchallenger in town!! I saw you on Sunday about 3 or 4 pm shooting pictures from the Blue Heron Bridge, that was when my brother and I arrived to shoot ours. Talk about a small world !!

Nice colors and composition. Better contrast and having at least part of the subject in focus may improve the image, though I suspect you may have purposely left everything out of focus to convey the mood you were looking for.
