Look here dammit!:-)by ParentxComment: ahhh, an inverted cat being strangled by a shadow-man. Always one of my favorite subjects as well! The inversion lost a lot of the texture however, especially in the lovely bed sheets. THose eyes, those eyes, full of deep mystery. The cat cut in half is beating you by a tail. Nice work |

When Roses Are Not In Bloomby Ricky CleaveComment: Wow. This gets more interesting the more I look at it. It looks like an alien creature resembling a mixture of a squid on a stick and a flying starfish strawberry. Nice framing and small dof. I really like this and hope it does well. |

Churchillby MorganComment: now THAT''s a very dignified lookin beast friend sittin in fronta your fire! Love the pose and the location, but the composition seems a bit crooked and I dont like whatever it is in the upper left corner, esp. since its so near the dogs face. Beautiful dog. Nice job. |

Noseyby SquiffyeitherjagComment: hello cat! Hoy, nice beast! I like the white patcha nose and the techture of the white black and greys. I dont like the shadow cast on the eye itself nor the blurryness around the top edges. Good lookin shot of a good lookin cat though. Cheers |

Just Another Sunsetby lisaeComment: An inspiring sunset shot. Man vs Nature. What are those huge odd shaped animals chasing after that poor bird flying through the beach in the sky? An interesting twist on the sunset. I like! |

Curvesby NatashaComment: Hey, is this for the curves challenge. A most interesting flower. I like the lighting although it may be a little strong in places. I think it would be interesting with the bottom cut of so that people wouldnt know exactly what it was. It would make an excellent abstract. |

Happy Valantine's day, dear! by miracComment: My favorite rose, hands down. Lovely exposure and the water drops add a nice touch. Thanks for reminding me that Valentine's day is coming up soon! |

Bahsworth & Brodamireby GotchaComment: --Laughter---: THIS was FUNNY. You chose the perfect dogs for such a shot. II love it. I would like to know (Im sure this is a pathetic amateur question but I need to learn somehow) how you get the background to be a sold white with no horizon whatsoever. I also find it strange that the shadows seem reddish. Awesome photograph. |

A Horse is a Horseby erin_m02Comment: This is the only horse. That's good. I was sick of all the flowers, kids, cats, and dogs. It also happens to be a very very nice photograph that I like better than the pictures of the flowers, kids, cats, and dogs. I would have liked a little more DOF, especially on the ground behind the horse. The composition is nice with the crooked tree and the barn, but I would have tried to get the tree to not cut through the ear. Of course, I'm being way too overcritical here and I wish I could take such a nice picture. Good job. |

Two Classics by JackoComment: Perfect. Could not have chosen a better cliche photo after the recent challenges. This would have won them both (lol). You made the water drop look just like a chess piece (but you already know this of course). My only recommendation is that you stop doing creative things like this and let some other people win for a while. jk. great job. |
