Study in Form and Toneby GeneralEComment: and it was an excellent study. Looks like you accomplished what you wanted to. Great composition, form, tone, lighting, etc. For some reason i would have liked all of the thumb to be lit, but im being very picky here. I like the golden hue for the skin and the lines of the back and shoulderblades really position the body well in the frame. It is soft and lovely, 9 |

Fragility in Blueby moodvilleComment: I keep coming back to this. it started at 8, then 9, now 10. I think its my favorite one. the blue is awseom and the focus and lighing are prefect. I cant even imagine not giving it a 10 now. How stupid of me. This is awesome, i wish i could take pictures like this. Remind me to buy a print one day when i move to a bigger house that i need to decorate! 10 10 10 |

Birds of a feather by JeanComment: Ok. this is my favorite one. It is perfect except for a little grain in the bottom left gray. I'd suggest neatimage, but i can never get it to work right. great job. 10 |

Berry Creek Fallsby afalconComment: I love the tones, the sofness, and the shutter speed to get the blurred water. it feels like something from a dream or an illustration for a fairy tale. Awesome shot. good luck. 10 |

Splashby e301Comment: wow. great shot. love how the bottom splash is still and the top and side ones are still in motion. black and white looks excellent. interesting that the splash look slike a bottlecap, if you put it upside down and did some editing on the background it would make a cool absolut ad. 10 |

The red pill or the blue pill?by hawkidaComment: ive never heard of smarties? i thought i had, but they dont look like those at all. sorry about all the candy people. (i just read your rant in the forums). i'd say the main problem with the shot is the lighting. it especially doesnt have a matrix feel to it and the pill idea was used a lot so the candy prob didn't work to your advantage. you got good clarity and detail in the wrinkle lines in the skin and fingerprints. the candies, however, do not look that tasty. |

illusion in blueby David EyComment: i think this image is great. it has a surreal feeling from the light/colors/ and angle-perspective. it feels like it could have been rendered in a 3d program. You should have gotten at least a 5 overall. I would have given it a 6. I thought the line in the glass and the woodgrain complemented the shot nicely! |
