The Millby alanfreedComment: Very nice scene. Looks like a peaceful picnic kinda place. Something about the darkness on the left and how it spreads over the river is slightly bothersome, but that isn't your fault of course. Nice job. Good luck. |

Roaming through the fieldsby SoulHunter74Comment: I really like this photo, but the details tend to blur together a bit, even though I'm sure they're in focus. Perhaps this has to do with the small resizing limits? Anyway, nice capture. |

First Cutting, 2003by karmatComment: It's good to actually see a person in one of these shots working. That displays "country life" really well. They're living it. Good job. |

Southwest Styleby briphotoComment: Strangely, I really love the background in this shot, the fence and barrel, but not the subject, since it is so tattered you can't really make it out. It's also harder to distinguish because it blends in with the ground, whereas the rest is complimented well by the blue sky. Hey! You should have put it on top of the barrel! It's a fine photo non the less. Good luck |

Dusty Roads by SonifoComment: This is my favorite shot for the challenge. I really hope this wins. The lines undulating line of the road going into the distance blends beautifully with the horizontal soft whisps of clouds and the location and apparel of the subject is just right. Great job! Looking forward to congratulating whoever this is again when the challenge is over... |

On the Farmby agwrightComment: Very crisp, but laking in intrigue to me. Maybe a person on the tractor working would help. The action implied by the scene is missing. |

"Long Walk Home"by tfarrell23Comment: I really like the lines and perspective in this photo. The sky, however, seems a bit fake like you played with the cyan color levels or something. The color and contrast, esp. with the tree branches, doesn't fit the tone of the rest of the image. |

Cedar Breaks Panoramaby rcrawfordComment: Really nice shot. I can see some evidence of stitching left, but that's not really your fault. I tried to do this without a tripod at the Grand Canyon and my result was much worse. I hate looking at these panoramics so small on here! |

Dreaming of a Sapphire Seaby GeneralEComment: Hey generalE. I like it. It's not something to submit to a challenge on here, as you know, but it has some artistic appeal. This was done with curves, yes? It's very juicy. I think it would look better as a larger print though, as some detail is lost in the small size. The only thing that bothers me about it is the gray at the bottom, and esp. that little blob at the bottom left. I might just crop the bottom off or make that a solid black area. Hey, Oakland huh. I'm in San Jose for the summer. What's good to see out here? |
