Charming old bridge, good colour in the concrete work, but would it not have been possilbe to back up and show more bridge and less ground work/bushes? Show more bridge and more of the river and top of the bridge and arches looking down to the river?

Really like the lighting on this bridgeand the way the lights reflect back onto the water on the other side of the bridge, the way the lights shine all the way across the walkway on the bridge and the way you've captured the lighting on the church on the other side of the river. Great photograph.

Really like your bridge over this creek/river. My eyes travel from this plank bridge to the barn, to the sky and all the way back to the bridge. Great colors, like the shadows of the trees, nice job.

Sure like the sharpnes of the basket and the color and the scratches that are on it. . I like the color of whiteness of the eggs too, but can't figure out looking at it - did you intentionaly want this much of softness on the eggs?

Okay - I get it now. I didn't read any of your info at first - like to get my own look first - great idea! By the low scores, I guess everyone thought the same way I originally did, right?

It is a great shot and a very good imaginative idea, certainly different from anything else that I've seen with eggs so far. The short depth of field works well here as does adding the sharpening to get the grainy look.

Is there anything you could have done to reduce some of the shadowing under the top layers of eggs, front and back? I was thinking along the lines of a few real tiny pocket type flashlights? You don't have any shadows created by the basket that I can see. . .

You know, TerryG, it was obvious that most of the voters weren't intrigued by your photo. All they saw was that the eggs were out of focus and they wanted to move on to the next picture. It had no visual impact for them and they voted you down. They didn't know what you were trying to do, and neither did I. . . until you told me.

I've seen some of your work,and all I can say, is keep you chin up and keep plugging along, artistic quality is something that some viewers will never get to see in a lifetime, at least you know what it looks like!

You like to live dangerously close to the edge? Great shot of the bridge and it's decaying features. The red rusty colours of great as are the shots of the bolts and the reflection of the water. nice shot.

Really like the colours that you've been able to capture with the engine and the train and also the automobile. The various colours of the bridge and brickwork are great also, along with the tree line, grass, etc. Nice job.
