brokenby KelliComment: This is just a thought, but I wonder how this might look if you could see more of the hand, and if that white strap on the bottom were out of the photo. It's a little distracting. I like the concept here though - the details of the dirt and the wrinkles on the skin are awesome. It's just that the composition is a little weak. |

Fallen Heroesby Wenders11Comment: Beautiful and well-done. You chose the perfect time of day to do this in - the golden light catching the dew on the grass, and the fog in the distance is lovely. |

Fallen Brothersby dssagent88Comment: IMO the composition is kind of cluttered and confusing. My eyes aren't sure were to rest. I think it might help if the man were in a different placing, and not cropped in half. Perhaps place him off to one side of the photo, and have him get a little closer to the camera, and place him at an angle where he is looking at the monument but you can see his face in the picture... Just a thought. |

Sacrificeby WyrdlingComment: IMO the composition is a little weak but the shallow DOF works great here. Clever concept! |

March 12, 1824by sherComment: beautiful, LOVELY post-processing! Very nicely done. This whole image has an exquisite delicate mood, created in part I think by the feathery script of the tombstone. |

Fall From Graceby RKTComment: Oh. How. Beautiful. Exquisite. And something about the way you've placed the dress on the ground makes the viewer think of angles and fallen. You've met the challenge in the hardest way possible, in taking a subject that doesn't necessarily have much to do with the challenge, but used your photography skills to create artistic impressions of the challenge subject. Incredibly skillful work! Would not be surprised if this is RKT's. :) |
