Petal Softby chesireComment: Nice! My only complaint is that there isn't much composition to this shot - there's really no main subject. But I like the border, and the lighting's nice! :) |

Stormfront at Sunriseby hotpastaComment: This is so cool and unique!!! I absolutely LOVE how you turned it to black and white - usually shots like this are in color. The tones are beautiful. THe details in the foam of the waves is just awesome... Excellent shots. |

Into the great wide openby kmbr2001Comment: Nice vivid colors! The lighting looks a little harsh though - almost like it's either backlit or maybe in the middle of the day. Nice shot though! |

Beach cruiserby electinaComment: Cool, nice leading lines and interesting perspective. might be cool if you got a little closer to the bike next time, to get more detail and also because the horizon of water begins right at the top of the bike, which doesn't look quite right. But I'm just being picky - lovely shot! :) |

The Amazing Bubbly Oceanby LuigiTechnomanComment: Well, I like that it's in black and white, and I guess it could make a good abstract... but I'm really not sure what this is, and it doesn' treally seem like all that artistic or photographic of a shot. Neat try though! I like your composition. |

sparklingby caro_08Comment: Cool idea - but the photo is either much too dark, or needs some adjustments. Maybe the white balance was off or something... but there is nothing white in the photo. The highlights are sort of gray instead of white, making the image look kind of dull and dark. I've had this problem too before, and have found that some adjustments with levels in Photoshop REALLY helps! Other than that though, this is pretty neat! Keep trying. |

Cramming For Finalsby GeneralEComment: Hmmm...well, here's my two cents! :)
This would be a lot better shot maybe if the background and the surroundings of the person weren't so cluttered. the first thing you'd want to get rid of is that rope hanging right in front of the main subject. Also having the person wear a simple shirt without anything on it might be good - less distracting. The background should probably be perfectly clear, with nothing observable in it. But good try though! :) Interesting idea. |
