down under.by ShannonLeeComment: Very classy. The atmosphere here reminds me of a lazy, breezy summer afternoon - full of sunlight and yawns. :) Sweet cat! |

fleeting for flightby ShannonLeeComment: Glorious. The lighting, the smooth tones of the sky, and the almost misty feel everything has... lovely. |

hello there!by ShannonLeeComment: I like the stark contrasts - This shot is so simple and yet so full of character all at once. It reminds me of an oreo cookie. Mostly black, yet almost brown, with that sweet white in the middle. It looks completely classic. It is a shame of course about the motion blur... and I'm still not sure about the composition. I don't know if I like the way the girl's face is cut off, but I do like the little bit of empty space on the right of the picture. But the contrasts and colors are awesome. :) |

Infinite Trianglesby behindthescenesComment: This is downright creepy. The smoothness of the metal lines... and the way they flow into the curves of the triangle is almost sinister somehow. I love the low and subtle lighting. This photo is just vibrating with power. Excellent shot! |

Eyes in the Darkby behindthescenesComment: VERY cool - I love selective desaturation with leaving just the eyes in color. The slinking shadows give this photo an awesome, menacing atmosphere. Perhaps changing the composition here might help out; the centered positioning doesn't work quite as well here. Also something that I like to do is intensify the colors of the eyes by adding more saturation and/or playing with the colors and making the yellow shades more of a gold. Neat shot! |

Yummy Blueberryby behindthescenesComment: Quirky and funny! The face expression and the whole humor of the situation is great. I also think I like the colors... the blue and the bright orange go well together. The lighting does seem a little harsh though. Or something. I get this problem too with some of my pictures and it's very difficult to try and correct it. Perhaps it needs more contrast, or some adjustments with the levels in photoshop. Excellent try though! The centered composition also works well here IMO. The straight-forward simplicity of the shot adds to the humor. Great work! |

Don't Forget About Usby pointandshootComment: Lovely use of selective desaturation - this is so beautiful! I love the fading of the sky from black to white, and the tones and textures of the whole image. But those golden pears add this classy, ethereal touch to the photo... and just that tiny little bit gives this a powerful, brooding, fantasy-like atmosphere. I love it! |
