Sawed off ( antique) firepowerby GThumbtackComment: Well, here's my two cents. :)
I know from experience how impossibly difficult it is to take a picture of a gun and get an interesting composition. Perhaps standing it on end, and shooting it from an angle would have made this shot much more interesting. Try experimenting with different angles. Also, the image has a sort of blue-ish cast...some adjustments with Selective color might help that out a bit if you wanted to fix it. And finally, the image is a little grainy. If it's possible to set the ISO on your camera lower, that would help. Hope that's all helpful! Keep trying! :) |

Power Strikeby Foolish IceComment: Clever and well executed - the focus is perfect! It could perhaps use a little bit of a levels adjustment, to make the background whiter...just a thought. Good photo, and neat take on the challenge! |

F-22 Raptor by StrikeslipComment: Very interesting effect - I like the way the silvery gray colors contrast so vibrantly with the glowing orange. |

This Is SPARTA!by elemessComment: Neat image! I love the tones and textures, and the lighting, although very neat... feels almost unbalanced. The left side of the image immediately starts out being bright, and then fades into dark. If there had been anyway to make it go from a little bit of dark, to light, and then dark again, that might have looked nicer. But I apologize, I'm being really picky! :) This is an excellent shot, and perhaps there was no way for you to be able to do that. |

Power of the Poutby TDubbComment: POWERFUL lighting! And nice use of low-key. The background is a little distracting... but I'm just being picky. :) Superb image. |

the BREAK-UP.by urnotworthit123Comment: This looks like an awesome image, but much of the impact is ruined by the distraction of poor quality. If there were some way to get rid of the grainy-ness this would be splendid! I love the colors and the light! |

Caged Power, Caged Gorilliaby delinComment: This might have been more interesting with a different composition to it - less centered. But the textures are nicely focused and very interesting. |

Power of the Punchby Rainbow-Coloured-SoulComment: I love the sepia tones and the low-key lighting. The motion blur is excellent, and helps give a powerful atmosphere to the shot. Something doesn't feel quite natural with the lighting however. I like the darkness, but nothing is white in the photo, giving the whole image a rather dreary, unpleasant look. Perhaps you could try some adjustments with the levels in photoshop, but that might ruin the nice low-key effect. Anyways, it's a neat image - good work! |
