At first I didn't get the areas of flat color, so I missed the almost-symmetry. After a while, I saw the gate. And then I found the other little bits of reality. Then the flat colors looked fine. I'm more & more entertained by what looks like symmetry but isn't. Symmetry of form & motion, but not detail. So now I love it. Good work.

At first I thought 'very cautious, slight distortion.' Then, I noticed the black halo & the borders & I thought 'oh it's just the BG that's been distorted into a creamy blur of color.' Interesting approach. I think it works.

This is beautiful, an esthetically pleasing combination of colors, shades, shapes, & line with some nice abstract qualities. It would be absolutely stunning if the PP was as good. You may be thinking that the capture as it comes from the camera is what counts (dust spots & all), but I am thinking that the effort to create perfection has to be sustained from first idea right through to the end of PP. JMO of course.
