The colour of the sky seems a tad blinding. And the house is even more personified in this picture than in the other one. I swear it's looking into the distance!

The paint is interesting, and I swear those top 3 windows look like a face. However, there doesn't really seem to be a big enough variation of light and shadow to really make the duotone interesting.

That fence is really cool. And the tree silhouettes work well. Though I'd really like to see the person about 3 steps back so that they seem to be travelling into the picture rather than already reaching their destination.

I spent the last 5 mins flicking between the two and trying to convince myself that it is indeed the same picture.

I like the nice mist around the houses, which is missing in the final version. However, the addition of a dramatic sky in the final one is what really pulls it off. I actually really quite like both, but they're so different. A testiment to the power of post-processing.

Hehe, I like that bit of Central park. There's something nice and mysterious about people disappearing off into darkness.
