See No Evilby okiesisiComment: Greets from the Critique Club
What amazingly poor and great luck I have following stdavidson to your image. It's poor luck because I can't add anything that he hasn't. He has it nailed. It's good luck because I don't have to add anything.
I'm sorry that I can't add to what he has said.

Kissby grigrigirlComment: The title is "Kiss" but I had to look and look to find a kiss. The red is overpowering and the people should probably be in color. |

Beautiful Bridgeby sfaliceComment: All the red on the bridge is good and should be the focus...but that little bit of red on the boat is really distracting to me. |

Wet bikeby MelethiaComment: Great shot and reflection, Deb. The reds really jump off the photo. |

Day 6:Dumaine st.by Elvis_LComment: I love the way you brought out the ominousness of the clouds. But the pic is slightly off horizontal. Message edited by author 2007-05-17 20:16:36. |

Warming upby tjbel05Comment: Greets from the Critique Club
This photo is perfectly in focus and very crisp. The colors are spot on.
I'm not too sure on the crop. I'd like to see some more space on the right hand side. As was said earlier there are better body positions to capture than right at the start. I'd like to see him either in the blocks or on his first stride for this shot.
Hope this helps.

Blue ribbon by the riverby carofoComment: Greets from the Critique Club
I think a different crop on this would have done it a lot better. If you would have cropped around the rope and the reflection, it would have made the photograph symmetrical.
Maybe if you had sharpened a little more and saturated the colors a bit more to make the rope pop, it would look a little better.
As it is, the focus is dead on and the reflections are magnificent. If one takes the time, they see the rope, a bunch of trees, and a barn.
Keep on shooting.

Synchronized Swimmingby karenkComment: Greets from the Critique Club
While this photograph isn't exactly symmetrical, I see where you were going. It's a great capture that you got with the 2 in almost the exact same "pose".
The colors seem just a tad oversaturated. Also, the subjects are pretty much centered. If you would have moved them a bit to the left, making it look as if they were moving through the picture, it might have scored a bit higher.
If this is helpful, please check the box.
