The Carnival Prizeby njsabsComment: My choice for the "blue" as well. Makes me think of Diane Arbus! Btw, despite the sense of awkwardness in the pose, it never occurred to me this was a child. My only criticism is that the vignette is too heavy for my taste, I wish the dress didn't darken so much at the top. |

The Shadow Knowsby GermaineComment: Interesting in part because to me the shadow seems to belong to a different person than the silhouetted pedestrian. Nice focus, too. |

Electricity by CrazyDiamondComment: I see I was not alone in faulting the photo for it's tenuous connection to the theme, but... I just wanted to congratulate you for taking such an appealing photo. It probably would have made the front page in the upcoming "power lines" challenge! |

Towards Meccaby jean_mucComment: I think this photo was underrated by voters. Fits the challenge, excellent job with exposure, the skin tones are good without blowing out all that white. Maybe needed a little more context rather than the implied studio setting? |

Ethereal Crossby digifotojoComment: Although your subject matter (a close up of a cross) was a bit obvious, this strikes me as one of the more under-rated photos in the challenge. Powerful angle and light. |
