Dire Straitsby jimmythefishComment: This doesn't look like a good situation at all...I think some human feeling would add a lot to this shot. |

His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment: I really like this alot and I appreciate you stepping out and touching on this subject in so thoughtful a way...other's tried and failed, unfortunately, to capture this emotion. You hit the nail right on the head, figuratively and literally! Awesome...I hope that people "get" it! |

Noooooooooo!by alanfreedComment: Very funny...I can totally relate to this exact feeling...I love it! My husband wanted to do something similar for the challenge but couldn't come up with a shot that he liked enough to pull it off. The only thing that I think would have added to this would be maybe one square on the roll...just for texture! |

Help Us, Lordby rmockmtComment: This looks like hope and promise...to me...not despair...probably just based on my spiritual relationship. I'm sure to some maybe it could say despair. I think your cropping could have been more thoughtful and I'm not sure I love your perspective. |

Crushedby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: These eyes do not "say" despair to me...they look focused, interested, maybe like they are studying or something but they definitely do not look in despair. Maybe if you included something about why this individual is in despair it would help understand better. |

Untitledby lionelmComment: This feels more like shame to me...not sure why. I guess I have no idea what the subject is in despair about. |

Rage Against the Bananaby AnachroniteComment: What did that banana do to you? LOL I really like this...very refreshing pic of fruit...people in this challenge tend to take fruit too seriously!! |

The Yellow Torpedoby alanfreedComment: Very adorable child. Nice, refreshing subject! I know that some people in this challenge think that the photoshop manipulation with desaturating all other colors is overdone but I think it's really fun and think that this would be a great photo to try like that with the sled color being yellow, everything else b/w. |

Lemon Eggby BullwinkleComment: At first I hated this...I thought it was really gross but after looking at all the other lemon shots, I liked this for the originality involved. Now I find it rather humorous. I'm not crazy about the reflection in the yolk but other than that this is a really well executed shot. I don't like the framing choice but I can't think of a better option right now...Maybe some color. I think I'd try a complimentary color...blue or perhaps a blue violet frame. |

Path to heavenby bmarquezComment: Really interesting image. This was really refreshing after looking at all the lemon and flower shots! Thanks!!! More focus is all this needs to be a real winner! Maybe a little less sky at the top? |
