graphic dockby bladComment: Very industrial scene and the tones suit it well. Looks like it might be a bit oversharpened, lots of little whitepoints everywhere. |

Porch Lightby dtremainComment: Only way to do it is to shoot it before it gets too dark outside. Still got some nice detail on the bricks even if the fixture did overexpose. |

Day12a.jpgby FotoMunkiComment: When there's not a lot of the subject to look at, I find myself wanting to see as much of it in focus as possible. Just personal preference.
I'm pretty uninspired in my commenting today... |

the-walk-home.jpgby electrolostComment: Nice candid shot. Pretty overexposed, but on the other hand it gives the impression of a blindingly bright summer afternoon. |

Day 12: Sassyby glad2badadComment: One of the better pet captures I've seen lately, and I think this looks perfect in b/w. Great balance of highlights with middle tones and enough dark spots spread about to give it enough contrast. |

Day 12 - Barbwireby JLCComment: I like how you composed it using the infamous rule of thirds to place that barb just so. Nice bokeh too. A simple study but a nice one. |

Day 11 - Lakeby JLCComment: Lots of good advice from everyone. With landscapes, you are either there when the light is good or you take what you get. This is a nice scene and well captured, blown out sky notwithstanding. |

Day 11by bs-photosComment: This has a real gritty feel to it. Nice processing and I like the 'in your face' crop (no pun intended). |

Goldby ATAPEComment: You rule breaker.
I like the composition. I continue to give myself this advice (and promptly forget it) which you can consider or not - use a narrow aperture and focus on the middle of their snout so their big ass nose is in focus too. |
