Wow it looks like mothra from the godzilla movies lol.
Great capture, you really got some good focus on that bug and that's not easy to do.
Does the bokeh enhance the subject? That I'm not so sure about. Even with all the nice little circles of light, there is a lot of activity in the background and the dimly lit bug sort of disappears in the cacophony. |

Bokeh of Flowersby SoulMan1978Comment: Critique Club feedback -
I think it is just a dandelion (a weed) so that's probably why it got mowed down.
Very nice bokeh behind the flower. Does it enhance your subject? I think so. The flower is the one detailed thing on a see of little yellow dots of light.
Focus on the flower could be much better. I would advise anyone to get the focus dead-on in camera. PP sharpening is never as good. Your shutter speed was a bit low here for the lens being used, that might have made all the difference. |

Nice photo that seems to have taken the brush treatment well. There is not message being conveyed here that I can tell. A motivational poster needs to motivate the user in some regard. This looks a bit like a title on a photo. |

Stop bureaucracyby hajekaComment: Critique Club feedback -
Interesting photo that works well in b/w. Layout of the poster is fine. What really holds this back is the lack of any clear message. What is it you are motivating people to do? Shred? Use less paper? |

Great photo. I like the trnslucent Decay font, butthis probably would have felt more anchored with the large text at the bottom of shot.
Words like 'screw' don't often find their way into motivational posters, lol. Still your message was certainly clear enough! |

A very odd aspect ratio for this poster entry. Font is a bit lackluster. Your message is clear and the stone gathering moss in the photo complements your message nicely.
The sky looks very artifical in large part because of the lighting on the beach being so jarringly different than that which a sunset would provide. |

Determination-Success is performed not by strength but by determination.by Rino63Comment: Critique Club feedback -
I'm not sure why this would have pulled a 4.8. The image is ok and it worksokwith your message. I would reference some of the other posters in the challenge and take some notes on how to place your text on the poster for more impact. The wording of your phrase is slightly odd, but I know this is not your native tounge (still it may be worth asking someone privately before the challenge justto be sure).
Overall I thought this was a decent entry. Good luck! |

Someone Specialby OlyuziComment: Critique Club feedback -
Beautiful butterfly capture. Following more of a classic 'motivational poster' design and including a keyword which embodies the messsage you convery here would probably have jumped this up quite a bit in the ranking. Still at 5.9, the photo itself was obviously appreciated by many and rightfully so. |

Be a friend Talk or listen to some one.by psartComment: Critique Club feedback -
Well looking at most of the other entries in the challenge, this one did not really offer up any sort of poster but rather a snapshot of some animals. I think this disconnect between entry and challenge (or at least challenge expectations) is really all there is to provide feedback on here. |

"Music should be inevitable, but not predictable."by skasubaComment: Critique Club feedback -
Nice image that worked well with your quote. The text itself sort of disappears into the photo. It should really be the first thing about the poster that catches the eye. Photo is nice. Could be a bit sharper and it might have been good to level out that horizon line a bit if it didn't make the towers look wonky. |
